This line begins with John SCARLETT's birth in Friston SFK c1809/1811. The Scarlett line goes back to Saxmundham where William was born in 1769. Mary ASHLEY (the younger) was his second wife.
The ASHLEY and REVENS(RIBONS) lines remain in Friston. John ASHLEY 1764-1835 could be the son of John GOODING(GOODWIN) who married Mary ASHLEY (the elder) in 1766.
