Pedigree chart of the first 4 Generations of the FAULKNER's
Cherry's lines all ended up in London >>
The marriage of cousins has reduced the amount of research needed, the joint FAULKNER lines (top and bottom) are now in Hertfordshire in the late 18C - Benjamin (top right) FAULKNER's father also Benjamin, & wife Ann AYLETT married in 1814 at Standon HRT and ages in 1841 Census put their births in early 1780's.
The BOWLER joint line is still bogged down in the 19C - by 1848 the BOWLER line has crossed the river to Putney in Surrey. Thomas & Sarah were married at St John's, Waterloo SRY in 1844.
The direct SCARLETT line (all butchers by trade) has been traced out to Friston, Suffolk pre 1825 and then to Saxmundham by 1769,
however the other three lines (RENDELL, STYLES and VOWLES), are still stuck in London. I expect the RENDELL line to eventually lead
to the West Country (Henry was also a butcher).
John SCARLETT and his ancestors now appear on a separate page.
On her mother's side, from Northampton, the HARRISON (shoemaker) line leads back to Comberton, Cambridgeshire, where the EDWARDS
line comes in.
